Stop Lying To Yourself.

26th July 2019

“If I want to be free, I’ve got to be me.

Not the me I think you think I should be.

Not the me I think my wife thinks I should be.

Not the me I think my kids think I should be.

If I want to be free, I’ve got to be me…….

So I better know who me is.”

I believe the most important commitment we can make is one we must make to ourself.

To commit to understanding who we really are and to then be true to ourself.

And it’s a commitment we must make, not once but EVERY DAY.

We must RE-MIND ourselves daily.

So we can show up as our authentic self.

>> Not the self we sometimes think we are.

>> Not the self we think others think we are.

>> Not the self we think others want us to be.

>> Not the self we may fear we are.

>> But the self we KNOW we really are.

In being true to ourself we set ourself FREE.

We not only transform how we feel, we also free ourselves to do all the great things we can’t otherwise do.

>> living ON PURPOSE.

>> being much better leaders….. because to lead others we must firstly learn to lead ourselves.

>> living in faith and not fear.

>> making those BIG decisions AND following through.

>> expressing more of our innate potential.

>> providing greater service to others.

>> showing up for our families, friends, colleagues and those we love.

Like writing and sharing posts like this with ZERO fear of being judged.

It took me almost half a century to find out who I really was.

For all this time I lied to and hid from myself and my truth.

People EVERYWHERE are hiding from their own truth.

They’re buying into the lies……. lies they’ve been told about who they are and what they’re capable of.

Lies they don’t even realise they’ve bought into!

People EVERYWHERE are stopping themselves from recognising their power and potential.

NOT allowing themselves to work out what they REALLY want.

Preventing themselves from finding and enjoying the FREEDOM, fulfilment and happiness they seek, deserve and are capable of.

We must consciously commit to learning the truth about ourselves or we must accept we’re unconsciously committing to paying the price of pretending.

Pretending Sucks!

Freedom Rocks!

It’s a Choice.
